Set a year after my first little Legend of Korra spin off 'Korra Vs Azula' just as the Energy Benders make their first attack.
Meet Jae (pronounce as you would "Jay") the next Dark Avatar after Unalaq.
When Azula made a boast declaring herself "by far the most powerful Firebender" she was approached by the young boy who bravely requested that she trained him, many a witness were shocked when the Azula accepted.
Jae had been born into a cruel world as many who knew of his powers immediately resented him, so cruel were they that when Azula accepted Jae many were certain the equally detestable former Fire Nation Princess would simply kill the boy and they were content to leave him to his fate. Even Azula who had taken him in only did so to accomplish her own ends, to use Jae to take over the world.
Yet things don't always turn out as everyone expect.
